It will then let you select one channel to view all upcoming content of that type for. You can select a channel based view by going to the content type you wish (movies, sports, shows, news) and setting the second filter to 'Channel'. Selecting a program will give you the option to record with the standard options (NEW only, NEW and REPEAT, Single episode or All episodes) and give you an option to select from the appropriate library type (Movie libraries for movies, TV libraries for shows) to add them to. They focus on the content rather than the channels so you can get an overview of what movies, sports, news and shows that are on or upcoming.

Plex immediately recognized the HDHR and downloaded a program guide (after giving it my zip code).
Connect the HDHomeRun (Extend in my case) to power, network and antenna, install the HDHR View app, scan for channels (I had to try out several antenna locations due to living, basically, underground) and then launch the beta version of Plex.
